When Lobmeyr, Swarovski and Riedl shared one location of production after World War II Hans Harald Rath was faced by a severe shortage of high quality crystal. So he approached Swarovski to use their cut beads instead of chandelier crystal. Initially met with astonishment this idea proved hugely successful and marked the start of a new era in chandelier making. With this product we created the first commercially successful implementation of Swarovski Crystal on chandeliers and laid the foundation for Swarovski’s success today.

The frame of brass is polished, the crystals are linked in the traditional curl-linking method giving a transparent and airy curtain of crystal.
