The original Lobmeyr crystal boxes are cut and hand polished all over. They have been produced in various decorations since 1912. The now offered object has been hand embellished by finest copper wheel engraving and was designed for the trend setting “Exposition des Arts Décoratifs” of Paris 1925. As even today, as in the late 18th century, tension between sensuality and rationality brought up wonderful and very fine products. The interest in local and international cultures, the delightful setting of festivals and of every day life in a delicate kind of elegance shall place the year 2006 under the title of “Rococo.”
